Start with the obvious things: your name and title, and your company's name, address, and phone and fax numbers. If you have an email address, be sure to include it. Also include your cellular phone number if you have one and you regularly use it as your main form of communication. Then consider some other options for your business card. Do you have a Web site? If so, you may want to include the URL on your card. You only need to print the simple URL — such as www.mysite.com — on your card, since that's enough for most Web browsers to find your site. You may also want to add a logo or other graphic to your card, along with a slogan or catch phrase that helps people remember your business. As a rule, it's more expensive to add graphics to your business cards, especially if you use color, but it can also make your cards a lot more memorable. Some people, especially those who work in real estate or other sales jobs, put their photo on their business cards. This isn't very common, however, and you don't want to do it unless you're sure that it's customary for your line of work.
